Glenwood Village Care Center

Glenwood  Village Care Center, a not-for-profit, church sponsored organization, is located adjacent to beautiful Lake Minnewaska in Glenwood, Minnesota.  We offer quality-skilled health care as well as support services including physical therapy, occupational and speech therapy.  Our reputation for providing excellent care is long standing in our Community.

Glenwood Village Care Center is a 75 bed, Medicare and Medicaid Certified facility, offering a range of services designed to keep our Residents as independent and active as possible. We offer double and single rooms that are cheery and comfortable.  Our Staff provides quality nursing care to our Residents,  making their stay as comfortable and home-like as possible. Our Facility includes a 20 bed special care unit for persons with Alzheimer’s disease or related dementia disorders.. We  accept payment from Medicare, Medicaid, private pay, and other  third party insurances.  The level of care needed by a resident determines the individual costs and are reviewed twice yearly by a State Quality Assurance Team.

Glenwood Village Care Center provides nutritious meals which are planned with the assistance of a licensed dietician and served in our dining room.  We have a lovely chapel and employ a  Chaplain to accommodate the spiritual needs of our Residents.  Catholic services are also held weekly.

Our Therapeutic Recreation Department provides stimulating and entertaining activities that are planned to meet individual tastes.  Our bus rides are one of the highlights as well as picnics and other community activities offered throughout the year.

Glenwood Village Care Center is a  well ventilated, smoke free facility.  We also offer a licensed beauty and barber shop on site offering reduced rates for seniors.
